![]() ![]() You can probably also scan to the HDD of the copier and retrieve the files through the web interface. Sometimes it is different than what you may think it is. By clicking this you can see what the folder is "Shared As". On the same window as the "Permissions" button is the Sharing button. In windows file explorer right click the folder, properties, sharing tab, Advanced Sharing, Permissions and Add your user if they are not already there. Make sure the "Network Type" is not set to "Public", it needs to be on "Private". There's got to be something I'm not aware of with Win 10 that I have to enable or something. We have Scan to Folder working in environment but only with an Copier to Server and not MFP to workstation. I went to one of our Ricoh 3054 copiers and tried the same thing locally with my laptop with same settings and it STILL won't work! At least with the copier I can do a network test connection but fails all the time. I thought maybe this is just not going to work because it's older firmware on the 4510 MFP or something. AV temporarily turned off to eliminate that as a potential block. firewall is turned off (domain firewall only) Tried all sorts of domain and local user credentials with combinations of the attempt above. Tried IP address and file path to folder, tried FQDN and file path to folder, regular computer name and path to folder. "Scan" shared folder is wide open to "Everyone" and My user, the user's user, and a local user with local admin privileges (again for troubleshooting) ![]() SMB1 and 2 are enabled (SMB1 more so for troubleshooting) through windows features for Win10 Discovery is turned on in network settings and I've set these up to scan to folder via smb on Win7 and Win8 just fine on our domain, but now with Win 10 I can't figure it out. ![]() Win10 1903 laptop trying to scan to folder from a Ricoh sp 4510sf. Have always had issues helping this user scan to folder whenever they get a new laptop, but this time I'm stumped. ![]()
